Description: Classic full keel cutter rigged and 46' LOA.  Beam 12.5'  Displacement 27,500 lbs. Draft 6'. The HC 38 MK-2 improved upon the original 38T by making it wider beam, a taller mast moved aft, and more sail area. Lemolo is in project boat status, but what a platform to rebuild.  Blistering hull, BMW 50 H.P. Diesel engine that needs a mechanical tune-up. This sailboat is tough, but needs a bottom job and engine overhaul.  The BMW only has 550 hours total, and is in good shape.   The sails and rigging are in good, original, condition and the boat can be sailed, as is. All original condition, right down to the Loran receiver.  They do not make boats like this anymore, with its ample teak joinery and silicon bronze fittings.
