Hi, I’m Michaella - I found sailing about four years ago and quickly got hooked. Since then, I’ve logged 400+ cruising hours, 60+ skipper hours, and raced the full 2025 season.

I’ve raced on a J/109, J/111, Henderson 30, Beneteau 40.7, Farr 30, and Farr 40. My primary roles are jib trim and spinnaker trim, with additional experience on bow, pit, and mast. I’m still building depth in those latter positions and very open to learning.

I’m based in Los Angeles, a member of Fairwind Yacht Club and am actively looking to crew on offshore / long-distance races to build passage experience while continuing to sharpen my racing skills.

I’m easygoing, happy to jump in wherever is needed, value clear communication, and I reliably bring snacks.

I’d love the opportunity to sail together - give me a call! Thank you! (:

Looking to crew

Looking to crew. I have been sailing for over a decade and have been racing out of Dana point on the weekends for over a year now. I’m looking to get into longer overnight races. Let me know if you want references or any more info, thanks! I prefer text…
