Description: Ahoy! My name is Maddie Jewell. My partner, Geoff Owens, and I will be visiting San Diego for the weekend of November 15-18 and would love to get out on the water while we are in town! We love to race but are also happy to cruise on boats looking for extra hands.  A bit about our background: Geoff has been racing since grade school (Boston/Cape Cod). I grew up sailing casually on lakes in Wisconsin. We met in college on the sailing team in Chicago and we both sailed all four years (420s and FJs). We have lived in San Francisco for the past few years and race regularly on boats including: J/105s, J/70, J/130, Beneteau 36.7, Sunfast 3600, Express 37, Open 5.70, etc.  We are both flexible in terms of roles on the boat: we both love the foredeck (sym and asym), trimming, pit, tactics (although we lack local San Diego knowledge since this will be our first time visiting the area).  Please reach out if you are looking for crew, we are focused sailors, quick learners, and always bring positivity to the boat.  Thanks, and looking forward to being in touch!
