<description>&lt;img src="http://i1.wp.com/yclas.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/12279/images/2026/05/18/688/sf-racer-available-to-crew_1.jpg?resize=200,200&amp;filename=sfraceravailabletocrew1" /&gt;I&amp;#039;m an athletic sailor with several years of experience on keelboats in the SF Bay, as crew and recently, at the helm. I would like to do as much of CA offshore race week as I can. I am currently taking a leave of absence to sail as much as possible this summer. I&amp;#039;m a quick learner and moderately experienced with a variety of positions on boats ranging from 18-45 feet.

Sailing Experience
Offshore: Spin Cup 2024 on a Landmark 43 and all of 2026 YRA offshore series on a Tripp 41. Also currently prepping for Pac Cup this summer on a Beneteau 43, spending a lot of time at the helm.

In the SF bay: Past half-year I have been the skipper of my J/24, racing in beer cans and one-design regattas. For the past three years I have been regularly crewing on large and small keelboats. I&amp;#039;ve sailed in up to 40 kt gusts with large swell and I remain positive and calm in stressful conditions. I am not prone to seasickness.

I am comfortable on the bow and have done foredeck on both symmetrical (end for end) and asymmetrical boats. I also have some experience trimming the spinnaker and jib on several big boats.

Other info: I am happy to come out last minute, I can get myself to wherever you are, I have all my own gear and am comfortable using it.
