I am an experienced buoy racer, who has competed for over 6 years in dinghies and more recently in keel boats.  I competed internationally as captain of my collegiate dinghy team and have been racing keel boats since graduation.  I have done numerous buoy races on big boats in the 40-50ft range and regularly race on a Wylie 46 in Santa Cruz.  We won the SCORE series last year and got second in the Monterey & Back regatta.  I'm looking to get some experience racing in coastal/offshore events and want to join a team who will be doing all or some of the 2017 Offshore Race Week.  I can do almost any position but have the most experience in Pit, Trimming, and Mast. I am also willing to do maintenance/prep work on the boat as I have experience from working at a charter company, and can come to any Bay Area or Monterey Bay based practice events.
