Hey, my name is Sophie Cerretti I’m 19 years old and I am a freshman on the SDSU sailing team, originally from the Reno/Tahoe area. I grew up sailing in the summers in Connecticut starting off in Opti’s then moving to Bic’s, onto 420’s, and now FJ 15’s. I also have some big boat experience on a variety of boats, but mainly on Melges 24’s and an Olson 40. This summer I will be going and racing on a Melges 24 for Block Island Race Week out in Rhode Island with the MudRatz! I have done Wednesday night races in Connecticut and Tahoe and now I just recently started doing the Beer Can Wednesday night races out of the Coronado Cays Yacht Club and am always looking for more experience!
